Welcome to my blog everybody. Thanks to Bill T and Abby C for holding my hand as I make this venture into cyberspace. Yikes!
The plan here is to offer pieces of my mind and heart from time to time on ”whatever” topics may surface—topics related to our congregation, to the larger Church, to the role of faith and spirituality in our lives and culture, and to “whatever” else may come up…such as my never ending quest for the best onion rings in the Kansas City area and beyond. Right now—my current KC favorites are the ORs at Oklahoma Joe’s. Traveling to Fort Worth? The ORs are superb at Dutch’s—a wonderful burger joint across the street from the TCU campus. In Minneapolis—there is a trendy bistro near Lake Calhoun offering an excellent OR appetizer—sorry—the name of the place escapes me right now—its near the condo where Adam and Meg live.
By the way—these contents and those to follow are offered with a very grounded humility—I am reminding myself already that my circle of readers is pretty small. I am under no illusions that what I offer here will be of much interest to many beyond that circle. But that’s OK. My hope is not to waste my time or yours… inviting us all to enjoy the gift of “whatever.”
Till later—happy munching.
